Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower was built in Paris from 1887 to 1889 by Gustave Eiffel, a French engineer specializing in revolutionary steel constructions.

Gustave Eiffel beat 300 other contestants for the building prize and although not all French people liked the Eiffel Tower from the start, it was kept to place telegraphic antennas on the top.

The structure took more than two years to complete. Each one of the about 12,000 iron pieces were designed separately to give them exactly the shape needed. All pieces were prefabricated and fit together using approx. 7 million nails.

Gazal 1

I’ll tell you something about the first Saudi car it’s Gazal 1 .

 Gazal 1 it’s the first appeared as concept at the Geneva motor show in march and will soon become Saudi Arabia’s first home-built car . the concept was designed by students in king Saud university’s automotive engineering program and built  around a Mercedes-Benz G-class . the students worked with  Magna Steyr  and studio Torino .

The car has been green lighted for production by king Abdullah . however there are few things that still stand in the way , such as financing  . According to estimates , the project needs a $500 million investment in order to get going. If the team finds the necessary investment , it hopes to have the car in production with two to three years . Production of the Gazal-1 is planned to be around 20,000 units per year.

Details about the car are rather scarce, but we know that it’s based on Mercedes’ G-Wagen and designed for the climate of Saudi Arabia and its Gulf neighbors. Detail about the powertrain are wholly unknown, but it’s likely an engine from the Mercedes lineup made it under the hood, possibly even the 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 from the G55 AMG. We’ll know more about the car as its production date comes closer.

why did we start this blog ?

we made this blog to re-write our book's paragraphs in a way that people our age would enjoy reading it  , we write it fully ourselves-based on our knowledge from flying high 1,2&3- after researching it well ,and we add pictures taken by our group too -most of times- and here is one of our friend's opinion.

There are so many reason why email is beneficial to society. It's usually free and the person receiving it gets the message within seconds. People can also transfer files and pictures from one location to the another, making it almost a necessity in modern life.

The history

Email has actually been around even before the Internet was in use.  MIT first developed Compatible Time-Sharing System (CTSS) in 1961. In 1971, Ray Tomilson developed the @ sign to separate the user and the machine.

Ben & Jerry

Ben & Jerry's ice cream is one of the most known ice cream's company on the world, But what's the story behind the two men who made a huge difference in ice cream world & how was their beginning? Let's find out!

At first, both Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield grew up in Merrick, Long Island. They went to the same school & became friends since then & split up to attend separate colleges.

Ben worked as an ice cream man in his senior year before he head off to Colgate University upstate.

& Jerry worked as an ice cream scooper in a high school's cafeteria at Oberlin when he went there to pursue a pre-med curriculum.

After graduating in 1973, Jerry failed twice to get into medical school, & Ben made his way to several colleges but dropped out of all of them.

In 1976, Jerry moved back north & lived with Ben. They both knew that they weren't getting anywhere doing what they were doing, so they decided to start their own food business.

Ben & Jerry considered opening a bagel shop, but then they turned their attention to an ice cream shop because the equipment of such a shop was much cheaper, & they both knew a lot about eating ice cream.

So they took a $5 costing correspondence course for an ice cream making in Penn State University, then they combined their $8000 lifesaving with a $4000 bank loan.

The pair looked up for a warm-weather town to open up their first shop & then they settled on Burlington, Vermont. Leased an old gas station building there, & opened on May5, 1978.

They began churning out all the reach & creamy, fun & chunky ice cream flavors they had always dreamed about.

Their ice cream was a hit, Soon the shop couldn't accommodate the bunch of costumers who come, more & more folks clamored for a taste of Ben & Jerry's flavors creations.

So they started selling it to local restaurants, then grocery stores & supermarkets throughout Vermont & beyond. Way beyond.

In the old days money was something  valuable so the sale was exchange still Qaron came. before 3000 years Qaron was the first one who made a gold’s coins .about 2,500 years ago Romans built a mint for making coins and for hundreds of years people only used coins but it was dangerous to travel with a lot of gold and silvers so people was thinking how to make money easier . china was the first country which use the paper money but not everyone was had paper money or coins . in 643 Coroesus Luler of Lydia made the first coin of gold after people forgot it. But we cant forget wiliam Horakosta  he was the first one who made paper money and he’s the first one who broke in the word .
